Brief Congregational Meeting - Sunday, November 6
Immediately following service on Sunday, November 6, Fr. Kyle will be hosting a brief meeting to discuss next steps being pursued by our Parish Council to address the recent flooding in our church basement. This meeting is open to all who consider Cornerstone their church home.
Men's Lunch - Sunday, November 13
Men of all ages are invited to a guys' lunch immediately after the service. We'll set up a grill and gather in the basement for some burgers and dogs. If you're interested in contributing in some way, or have questions, please contact Danny Linton at dlinton@greenhousemovement.com.
Women’s Lunch and Fellowship - Sunday November 13
Women of Cornerstone, you are warmly invited to an afternoon of food and fellowship on Sunday, November 13. Immediately following service, we will share a potluck-style meal and finish our study on Ephesians (chapter 6) in the loft. Please sign up to bring something here. NEW DATE: Worship and Prayer Night - Wednesday, November 16
Join us at 7pm as we practice the Bible’s invitation to “give thanks in all circumstances” together (1 Thess. 5:18). Beforehand, you can also join the Portage Park City Group for dinner at 6pm (sign up to contribute something here: bit.ly/11-16-Potluck). You won’t want to miss this midweek opportunity for our church to gather in fellowship and to seek the Lord in worship and prayer!

Halloween Outreach Update
Thanks to everyone who helped out at the Halloween Outreach on Monday night. It was a blast! A special shout out to our Mission Team for their excellent leadership and coordination for this event!

Lessons and Carols Community Service - Saturday, December 10 at 7pm
Christmas Day Family Service - Sunday, December 25 at 10am
Because Christmas falls on a Sunday this year, we will not hold a Christmas Eve service.
Current Sermon Series - Faithful to the End: A Study of Paul's Second Letter to Timothy Near the end of his life, Paul wrote one final letter to his beloved ministry co-worker, Timothy. In it, he calls Timothy--and all of us--to steadfast faith in Jesus in all circumstances. Join us throughout October as we consider how Paul's final, heartfelt words to Timothy might encourage us toward greater faithfulness today.
