On Sundays, we worship together through liturgy, song, story, memorization, wondering questions, catechesis (teaching of doctrine and the faith), and prayer. We make space for your kids to respond to God through art, reflection, or imaginative play.
We use the God’s Big Story (GBS) curriculum, which is rooted in the truth that God has come to rescue us from our sin through his Son Jesus Christ. GBS explores the full biblical narrative (from creation to new creation!) through the liturgical year (church calendar).
We currently offer two classrooms for our kids on Sunday mornings.
Our 15 months-1st grade classroom ("Pebbles") meets downstairs every Sunday morning from 10 AM -11 AM. Check-in begins at 9:50 AM and check-out is during the offertory (to allow our children to participate in the full Eucharistic service with their families).
Our 2nd-6th grade classroom ("Pillars") currently meets two Sundays a month. This allows our core elementary-aged kids to worship with us upstairs and downstairs on alternate weeks (with their parents or with their peers). This group stays in the sanctuary until they are dismissed after the gospel reading and returns to the sanctuary with their leaders around 11 AM for Eucharist. Check our calendar for our current class schedule.
